NYRP selects Desai Chia Architecture for the Edge/ucation Competition
Desai Chia Architecture and seven other firms have been selected to develop a state-of-the-art, flood-resistant recreation learning center at the Sherman Creek site in Inwood, NY, which was hit hard by Hurricane Sandy last year. The competition is sponsored by the New York Restoration Project & led by Bette Midler.
Peranakan Museum's "Luminous Depths" Unveiled in Singapore
"Luminous Depths," a collaboration with artist Lee Mingwei at the Peranakan Museum in Singapore, opened on June 20th and will be on display through September 2013. The diaphanous installation engages every story of the museum, filtering light down from the skylit atrium.

Desai Chia's new Surface Series and other partnering AF New York collections were awarded the ICFF Editor's Award at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in NYC. The Surface Series-- an innovative sink, tub and storage system-- made its debut at ICFF this year.

Cooper Square is honored with an American Architecture Award
Cooper Square received an American Architecture Award. The project will be exhibited at the Herman Miller Gallery in LA and NYC to showcase the best American architecture in 2005.
